Ella Langley brought her rising country career back to an intimate setting on October 6, taking the stage at Denver’s legendary Grizzly Rose for a special SiriusXM Small Stage Series performance.
Rather than a large arena setting, Langley performed in front of a close-up crowd at the iconic country venue, delivering a 10-song set that mixed fan favorites with songs from her latest album, Dandelion.
The set included Be Her, Dandelion, Choosin’ Texas, and weren’t for the wind, giving fans the chance to hear material from the album in a much more personal environment.
The performance also offered a snapshot of just how quickly Langley’s career has grown. After breaking through to a much wider country audience, the singer returned to the kind of smaller venue where the connection between artist and fans feels especially immediate.
But the intimate Denver show is only part of the experience. Fans who were not inside the Grizzly Rose will soon have a chance to hear the full performance when it airs on SiriusXM’s The Highway on October 9 at 8 p.m. ET. The performance will also be available through the SiriusXM app.
For Langley, the night was another sign that her momentum continues to build, even as she makes room for those close-up moments that helped define her connection with country music audiences.
