The lovable pup played a memorable role during the final moments of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” In the closing scene, Paul McCartney joined Colbert in pulling a giant light switch at the Ed Sullivan Theater, transforming the building into a snow globe. The final shot showed Benny sniffing the miniature theater as Colbert said, “Come on, Benny. Let’s go,” bringing his 11-year run as host to an emotional close.
