With Season 21 of America’s Got Talent entering the Live Shows, the power now shifts from the judges to viewers at home. The Top 44 acts are competing for a place in the next stage, but this season, America’s vote will determine who moves forward.

There are three ways to support a favorite contestant: online through NBC, via the official America’s Got Talent mobile app, and, for the first time, through TikTok.

When Does AGT Voting Open?

Voting takes place after the Live Show each Tuesday night.

Fans can submit their votes once the performance episode ends, with voting closing at 7 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

Viewers can cast up to 10 votes through each voting method, allowing them to support the same contestant across multiple platforms or divide their votes among several acts.

How to Vote Online

To vote through NBC, viewers need to visit the official America’s Got Talent voting page and register if they do not already have an account.

After signing in, select the contestant you want to support and assign the number of votes you would like to give them. Once the votes have been allocated, click Save to submit them.

The online voting system allows fans to decide how they want to distribute their 10 votes.

How to Vote Through the AGT App

Voting is also available through the official America’s Got Talent mobile app, which can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

After installing the app, viewers must create an account and sign in. From there, select Go to Vote Now, choose a contestant and assign the desired number of votes.

As with online voting, fans can use up to 10 votes through the app.

TikTok Introduces a New Way to Vote

Season 21 introduces a new voting option through TikTok, giving fans another way to support their favorite performers.

To vote, viewers need to find an official AGT post that asks fans to comment to vote. They can then leave a comment containing the full name of the contestant they want to support.

Fans can vote up to 10 times through TikTok, but each vote must be posted as a separate comment. Importantly, those comments must be made on the official Vote Here post. Comments placed under other AGT TikTok videos will not count.

America Decides Who Moves Forward

This season, the judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Sofia Vergara — continue to offer their feedback, but the final decision during the Live Shows belongs to viewers.

With three voting methods available, fans have multiple opportunities to support the acts they believe deserve to continue in the competition.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
