Variety newspaper confirmed that famous artist couple: actress Nicole Kidman and her husband – country singer Keith Urban have officially broken up.
Considered the “perfect couple” of the world entertainment industry, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban first met in 2005 at the G’Day USA event in Los Angeles to promote their homeland Australia.

More than a year later, the two publicly announced their engagement before marrying in Sydney in June 2006. They have two daughters together: Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, aged 17 and 14 respectively.
During the early months of their marriage, Kidman intervened to help Keith deal with his alcohol addiction . This motivated the country singer to enter rehab. In later interviews, Keith acknowledged Nicole as being pivotal in his recovery.
Over the past two decades, the two have frequently appeared together on the red carpet, from the Met Gala , the Oscars to the American Country Music Awards . The New York Post quoted a close source as saying the reason for the breakup was that “sometimes relationships just come to an end.” Meanwhile, entertainment news site TMZ said the couple had been living apart since June 2025. However, this revelation was questioned when, at the same time, Nicole posted a photo of her wedding anniversary with Keith on Instagram.
People reported that it was Keith who moved out of their shared home in Nashville, while Nicole was desperate to hold on to the relationship: “It wasn’t her idea. She fought to save the marriage.”
