Former Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas has urged the contestants to “block out the noise” if they want to go on and win the series.

Sydnie who triumphed in 2024, is back tonight to perform alongside The Great Ormond Street Choir (GOSH).
Asked for her tips for the semi finalists, she said: “Be brave for yourself because you deserve this shot. I’d say block out the noise, the unnecessary noise and just be proud that you’re brave enough to be doing what you’re doing and just believe in yourself. The more you believe in yourself, the better. You can do it.

Sydnie, 30, admitted even after winning she would feel nerves heading back onto the show and going up on stage.
She added: “It’s amazing and I’m so excited more than anything. But the pressure can be a bit buckling, I just have to breathe and give myself the advice that I’m giving to the other contestants, to just breathe and go, you can do it. Just enjoy every second.

“If I just hone in on enjoying every second and I try to be present, then I end up forgetting the pressure. Because it’s very easy to let the pressure completely overtake how you feel.
“Something amazing happened to me on BGT and I’m so grateful. But I’m still the Sydnie that they fell in love with throughout this journey. And I won’t change.”

Sydnie who has a new single coming out in June and an album coming out in September, said she was still in touch regularly with judge Amanda Holden, who was her cheerleader on the judging panel when she took part willing her to succeed.
