Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce added another deeply personal touch to their lavish wedding celebration by paying tribute to the beginning of their love story—with a customized classic muscle car.
The newlyweds, who exchanged vows during a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Friday, incorporated a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible into their wedding festivities, complete with a custom New York license plate reading “JST&T MRD.”
Exclusive footage obtained by Page Six showed the vintage convertible parked outside Madison Square Garden the morning after the wedding. In the video, a person who appeared to be an arena employee drove the car out of the venue, backed it into a nearby parking space, and later loaded it onto a transport truck.

A Meaningful Nod to Where It All Began
The classic Chevelle wasn’t chosen by chance.
Kelce, 36, owns a Chevrolet Chevelle SS in the same color—the very car he famously drove after Swift, also 36, attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023.
Following the game at Arrowhead Stadium, the couple was photographed leaving together in the convertible before heading to a Kansas City restaurant that Kelce had rented out for teammates and their partners to celebrate the Chiefs’ victory.
That evening became the pair’s first public date and marked the beginning of one of pop culture’s biggest romances.

Kelce’s Love for Classic Cars
Just days before he and Swift officially debuted their relationship, Kelce had already spoken proudly about his collection of vintage vehicles on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
During the episode, he revealed plans to bring his burgundy Chevelle convertible to an event.
“That thing sounds so mean coming around the corner and it looks sweet,” Kelce said.
In addition to the iconic Chevelle, the NFL star reportedly owns several luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce Ghost, an Aston Martin Vanquish, and a Mercedes-AMG G63.

A Wedding Filled With Personal Details
Swift and Kelce were married before approximately 1,000 family members, friends, and celebrity guests inside Madison Square Garden.
Following the ceremony, Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed to Page Six that actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding.
Rather than choosing a traditional bridal party, the couple kept the ceremony centered on family.
Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as Best Man.
From heartfelt family roles to a vintage getaway car that honored the moment their romance first became public, every detail of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding reflected the journey that brought them together.
