Gwen Stefani gave Blake Shelton’s fans an unexpected treat when she joined her husband onstage during his set at the VOA Country Music Festival, turning his performance into a special night for the couple and the audience.
Stefani later shared a glimpse of the evening on Instagram, revealing that she and their dog Betty had decided to “pull up” to Shelton’s show. Her recap featured moments from getting ready on the tour bus, enjoying the music from the side of the stage and eventually stepping in front of the crowd to perform alongside Shelton.
Gwen Stefani Joins Blake Shelton Onstage
As Stefani appeared in front of the audience, Shelton proudly introduced her, telling the packed crowd, “This is Gwen Stefani that’s here tonight.”
The couple then performed their 2019 hit duet “Nobody But You.” Shelton appeared delighted to share the stage with Stefani as they traded verses before joining together for the song’s powerful chorus.

Their harmonies gave fans another opportunity to see the chemistry that has made their collaborations so popular.
But Shelton wasn’t ready for the surprise appearance to end after one song.
Before Stefani left the stage, he asked her, “would you do one more song with me please?” She agreed, and Shelton then encouraged the audience to join them.
“Let’s all do this together,” he told the crowd before the pair launched into another of their well-known collaborations, “Happy Anywhere.”
Fans Want More From The Couple
The performance quickly drew enthusiastic reactions from fans, many of whom praised how naturally Shelton and Stefani’s voices blend together.

Some also expressed hope that the husband-and-wife duo will collaborate on more music in the future.
Although Shelton and Stefani have performed together before, their joint appearances remain special occasions for fans. Their busy careers and personal lives often keep them on separate schedules, with the pair also spending time together at their Oklahoma ranch.
That makes surprise moments such as the VOA Country Music Festival appearance particularly memorable for those who happen to be in the audience.
