When 12-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne hit the audition stage for the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent, nobody (including the judges) expected her to unleash a shocking musical talent – one that not only earned her a Golden Buzzer, but led her to win the entire series!

Darci’s audition has racked up more than 11 million views across its various YouTube uploads, with her further performances running to more than 20 million views each! Music Man readers can watch the magic unfold in Darci’s viral audition tape below…
Darci wasn’t just the youngest ventriloquist to audition for the show, but amped up her performance with asurprising twist—one which ranked her talent far above most adult professionals in both ventriloquism and music alike.
Beaming with smiles, Darci talks to the judges with her white bunny puppet, Petunia, on her arm. Their hilarious, zesty chemistry is radiant from the start, even before Darci has begun her true act.
But then, as the backing track plays out, Darci does the unexpected. She belts out a pitch-perfect, powerhouse tune through her grinning smile, letting Petunia vocalize the words in the ultimate ventriloquist performance.
If she were singing the song alone, it would be a top-tier audition. But the fact that Darci masters the difficult tune without moving her mouth at all plasters shock over judge Simon Cowell’s face, while enchanting the entire live audience.

And, like any stellar ventriloquist act, Darci laces her vibrant humor into this performance, attempting to sing a few lines for herself before being shut up by Petunia, who places a bunny paw over Darci’s lips to reclaim the song for herself.
The judges can’t believe what they’re witnessing, so much so that after they’ve finished showering Darci and Petunia with stand-out critiques, Mel B slams the Golden Buzzer, making Darci burst into tears, with her crying mum soon running to hug her daughter on stage as the confetti flakes cover them.

However, the judges weren’t the only ones mesmerized by Darci’s child prodigy level of talent. As one YouTube viewer commented, to the tune of 1,000 likes: “Singing is hard enough. Ventriloquism is hard enough… Putting the two together so masterfully at 12 after doing it for only two years? That’s insane. She must have practiced every second of every day for two years straight.”
Another fan, returning to the clip after Darci made it all the way to the finals, wrote, “It’s about time someone with talent won this show!”
