Keanu Reeves proved once again that he lives and breathes the action-hero lifestyle, making a memorable arrival at the premiere of his upcoming documentary Wick Is Pain by riding one of the custom motorcycles built by his own company, Arch Motorcycle.
The 60-year-old actor turned heads as he pulled up to Beyond Fest in Los Angeles on Thursday aboard an Arch motorcycle, the company he co-founded in 2011. Dressed in an Alpinestars riding jacket with a striking scarlet scarf adding a splash of color to his otherwise all-black outfit, Reeves looked every bit the icon fans have come to expect.
The documentary, Wick Is Pain, explores the remarkable behind-the-scenes journey that brought the original John Wick film to theaters in 2014. Far from being an overnight success, the project faced enormous challenges before becoming one of Hollywood’s most successful action franchises.
Among the biggest revelations is that production nearly collapsed before filming even began. According to the documentary, the team ran out of funding just one day before cameras were set to roll before actress Eva Longoria stepped in with a crucial $6 million investment that helped keep the project alive. That gamble ultimately paid off, with the franchise growing into a billion-dollar global phenomenon.

Following its premiere at Beyond Fest, Wick Is Pain is scheduled for release on Friday across video-on-demand and digital platforms, giving fans an inside look at the obstacles, risks and determination that helped launch one of modern cinema’s most successful action series.
Away from the spotlight, Reeves continues to enjoy a low-key relationship with visual artist Alexandra Grant, 52. The couple, who were spotted having lunch together last month, first met at a dinner party in 2009 before collaborating on multiple creative projects.
Their professional partnership began with Reeves’ 2011 book Ode To Happiness, which Grant illustrated, marking his first work as an author and her first published book as an artist. They reunited in 2016 for Shadows, with Grant once again providing the artwork before the pair officially debuted their romance on the red carpet at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in 2019.

Despite making their relationship public, Reeves and Grant have largely kept their personal lives private. Grant previously told British Vogue that the public reaction after their red carpet debut was overwhelming, revealing that nearly everyone she knew contacted her after the event.
When asked about the possibility of marriage in 2020, Grant carefully avoided giving a direct answer, saying that love remains deeply important to her identity while emphasizing the value she places on meaningful relationships.
Grant is Reeves’ first publicly known partner since Jennifer Syme, who tragically died in a car accident in 2001, less than four months after the couple lost their stillborn child.
The actor also addressed one of the internet’s most enduring viral moments during a 2021 appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Reeves revealed that the famous “Sad Keanu” photo, which sparked years of speculation about his emotional state, was far less dramatic than many believed.
“Man, I’m eating a sandwich!” Reeves joked, explaining that he simply had things on his mind—and was hungry—when the now-iconic photograph was taken.
